Credit Level Descriptors and FE/HE Partnerships

The issues in the use of credit affecting FE/HE partnerships are examined. In particular, the authors examined the feasibility of a common approach to describing learning in FE and HE and, using the various definitions available for FE, re-cast them in the same format as the widely used SEEC HE credit level descriptors. The team, identifying the characteristics of successful (and the less successful) partnerships, goes on to examine the potential uses of the FE/HE credit level descriptors.
